Gina loves to travel and has been all over the world. Last year, she formed “Crewsin’ & More”—a travel advisory company with a clever take on her maiden name (Crews). The company has grown steadily (particularly now that Covid restrictions have been lifted and people are catching up on all their travel), and she has asked me if I would be willing to partner with her in the business.
After much thought, I said YES! I also have traveled the world all my life, and between us, we have journeyed to five continents, 32 countries, sailed 26 cruises (including 6 in the Caribbean this year), and enjoyed many destinations and travel experiences. Many people consider me a travel and leisure maven (a person who has special knowledge or experience; an expert), and I constantly receive queries and texts regarding food, wine, cocktails, and travel. It seems a natural fit. Now that we are unofficially retired, we have traveled much more often. And we LOVE it.
We also love helping others enjoy and enhance their travel adventures. Our company plans to specialize in cruises with a primary focus on Virgin Voyages and the Royal Caribbean family (Celebrity, Azamara, and Silversea.) As we progress, we hope to add expertise to all-inclusive resort vacations.
I have been certified as an official “First Mate” (travel advisor) with Virgin Voyages and am currently completing the Royal Caribbean University. Gina has completed all certifications. We are members of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors).

To paraphrase Wordsworth, “May nature’s loveliness encourage us to locate the good in ourselves.” Travel enlarges our perceptual view— it enhances meaning and completeness in our lives. I believe this occurs internally and externally. Travel makes us better human beings.
